Simply speaking, as long as you don't change the SAP DB DBMS itself you have nothing at all to think about, do with it whatever you want to if you change the SAP DB source (not many people do that:) then you must provide the source to those changed to your customers.
Strictly speaking your customers may request that you distribute the SAP DB source to them, but they may obtain the source from http://sapdb.org so there is no real need to do that.
