Does this mean that it is fixed in 7.4.3.0? because I am still getting the 
same behavior with both CATALOGEXTRACT and now with DBEXTRACT. I have 
completely uninstalled the old version, and installed the latest 7.4 beta.

Furthermore, both methods produce a catalog with duplicate DDL statements for 
tables: I get two copies of the same CREATE TABLE statment for each table. I 
don't remember this happening in the previous version.

Another strange thing is that when I try do a DBEXTRACT, sometimes it works 
fine, other times (with the exact same command to dump the same same files) 
it returns

  Replication server error (-4 : 'received a garbled packet')
