Hi.

It sure looks FULL to me! All those say "Used Space 100%", "Free Space 0%".

I too have been confused by the output in the past. My suggestion is to use
the "info state" command, that will always give you the simple version of
"database full" and considers the temp vs. usable space.

Subject: 7.4 INSERT blocked, but database not fulll

Hello,

Under the 7.4 beta on RH 8.0

/opt/sapdb/depend74/bin/dbmcli on TUC74>info data
OK
END
Name | Value

Devspace Name = DAT_0001
   Total Space (KB) = 30720
   Used Space (KB) = 30720
   Used Space (%) = 100
   Free Space (KB) = 0
   Free Space (%) = 0
Devspace Name = DAT_0002
   Total Space (KB) = 10485760
   Used Space (KB) = 10453016
   Used Space (%) = 100
   Free Space (KB) = 32744
   Free Space (%) = 0
Devspace Name = DAT_0003
   Total Space (KB) = 51200
   Used Space (KB) = 51200
   Used Space (%) = 100
   Free Space (KB) = 0
   Free Space (%) = 0

So the database is not full indeed, but INSERT blocked. After adding
another data devspace the insert went on. But the database has never been
full...

Also, i don't think I am getting any of the events neither to console nor
visible in Database Manager:

/opt/sapdb/depend74/bin/dbmcli on TUC74>event_list
OK
Name State Prio 1st 2nd Description
<snip>
DB_ABOVE_LIMIT ON HIGH 96 Database above
limit
DB_ABOVE_LIMIT ON HIGH 97 Database above
limit
DB_ABOVE_LIMIT ON HIGH 98 Database above
limit
DB_ABOVE_LIMIT ON HIGH 99 Database above
limit
<snip>

What this may be?

Regards,
Wojtek
