Hello All, I am planning on setting up a production SAPDB server on SuSE Linux v8.x and would like to know your recommendations for a sound configuration on the following PC:
500 Mhz CPU 256 MB RAM 40 GB HD current HD partitions are: 1 GB SWAP 6 GB /home the rest is mounted under "/" 1) should another partition be made to store the data files in case of OS failure? 2) what would be your recommended partitioning?
