I've been getting this error: "An error occurs by installing database 'xxx'! -24988 sql error [util_activate...] -7017 Message not available
I've looked through the news groups, browsed the and searched on Google. I've found other people have the same general error, but the -7017 isn't mentioned. Nevertheless, I've tried the fixes that have been posted even if they are getting a slightly different error. I've added the indep_prog\bin and indep_prog\pgm directories to my path. The size of my datafile is 100 megabytes, as is the size of the log file. The -7017 error does not show up on Google, and the -7017 is apparently a "User not allowed" error according to the SAP Messages @ http://www.sapdb.org/htmhelp/c5/e3c635d0998e4be10000009b38f839/frameset.htm. That doesn't make much sense. Any suggestions?
