How to build from source on Mac OS X

Hi I have downloaded sapdb-source-7.4.03.07.tgz from the website I can not find any makefile or ./configure or anything else looking like a build system in the tar file

The installer perl scipt prompts me for sonem software not available for my paltform.

How do I continue ?
