Hi,
I have never seen any problem with french accents in SQL, for apostrophes
just double it like:
L''apostrophe. You can program a function to do that in delphi and pipe all
you string through it.

Subject: ODBC - Problems with apostrophes

Hello NG,

We're using SAPDB (7.3.0.29) with Delphi through a ODBC-connection on Win2k.

It's basically working fine so far except the problem of treating special
characters in strings, which seems to be a known problem.

We need to process french text with apostrophes and accents which cause
errors in the sql statement.

Is there a solution out yet?
Where can I find more information about possible solutions?
Do we need to provide a own work-around?

We're thankful for any advice.

Marc
