Did you check if your log is full and the database kernel is waiting
for an admin doing the backup for this log or switching on the AutoLog-option?
There are several things about the AutoLog-Option that i don't understand. Perhaps because of some basic mistakes in my knowledge.
So please correct me and the following:

1. The Log is used to store information that's used to rollback or replay transactions
2. The Log grows until the data is commited and ?safely? written into the data-tables

Now there are some questions:
- wouldn't the Log be of size 0 when all data is comitted? unfortunatly it isn't which which prooves point (2) to be wrong
- is SAPDB's Log only growing? that would make the AutoLog-Option a very useful thing, but what about those Backups? Do i have to keep them?
- is a "complete backup" not complete? should i do a log-backup to get the most recent data?
