I am new to sapdb. I have sapdb 7.4 loaded on a Redhat 8 machine. I have
the TST74 database , the x_server and vserver setup and running. I have not
been able to create my own database instance with the dbmcli command. I
tried to use the Web tools but the "sapdbweb start" will not stay running.
With the dbmcli command do I have to be logged in as sapdb?
The command I am using is: dbmcli -s db_create MyDB dbm,dbm Is this
correct?
Why would the web server keep stopping?
I have sapdb 7.3 loaded on a windows pc in about 30 minutes. Is there a
problem with the sapdb on Redhat 8?
Any help appreciate.
