This is the second post, the original post disappeared from the board !! I installed sapdb 7.3 on the win2k pro. Setting user for administrator group. On the server machine, I was able to create database by using dbmGUI and able to use SQLstudio to manipulate the database. However, on the client machine which I installed dbmGUI and SQLStudio, I was unable to create the database REMOTELY although the user has been registered with the server as admininstrator. It gave me an error. Any advice, suggestion ? Thanks in advance. Samira
