I'm really bothering the SAP folks with my questions, when a new 7.4[beta]-release might be available, but all i get is a "not scheduled yet".How can I get 7.4.3.10 build then? Please? How about a beta refresh on sapdb.org?I am not astonished. It is implemented with 7.4.3.10. And the so-called 7.4beta is 7.4.3.7 --> does not include the correct upper/lower-conversion for unicode-data.
Yes, but i havan't seen many people that were brave enough to modify the sources. I wouldn't do any changes to the sources, because i'm to frightened that the whole thing get's messed up.SapDB is opensource, isn't it?
I'm going to try building SAPDB by myself, so that i can use the latest tagged version from CVS, but as i already mentioned in the sources-mailinglist, i don't know which tag to choose, or what the meaning of the tags is. The tags in the sapdb-74 cvs don't seem to be as "human readable" as the ones in the sapdb-73 cvs.
The build-system may be another hurdle because it has nothing to do with "./configure; make; make install" yet, but i'm confident of getting this done - somehow.
