Hi,

I checked the files, the file have several COMMUNIC logs and as one last that is:

01-21 09:45:03  1136  12696  DBSTATE Change DbState to 'OFFLINE ' (28)

But I don't find because the DBSTATE goes to OFFLINE,

has another tip/idea?

Thanks

Clovis

Hi,
seems that your database is shutting down while you were running the report. The knldig (http://sapdb.2scale.net/moin.cgi/knldiag) would be very helpful to find out the reason for the kernel shut down.

Subject: JDBC Exception Restart required

Hi SapDB Team,

SapDB version: 7.3.0.0
Running on Conectiva Linux 7 like RedHat 7 kernel 2.4.5-9

My application is running in (Production), but at some times the
exception Restart required occur, and the connections to
SapDB stop, the
only way to work again is restart the SapDB instance.

this exception occur first time:

com.sap.dbtech.jdbc.exception.ConnectionException: [-813]
Restart required

and following attempts to connect throws:

com.sap.dbtech.jdbc.exception.JDBCDriverException: SAP DBTech JDBC:
Cannot connect to jdbc:sapdb://192.168.100.100/SDB_BIB
[Restart required].

I see that this exception occur when accessing SapDB to
generate reports
for my application that extract strong data from server, and
uses many
queries,
I checked Files from Web DBM and don't see any error.
What I can do to check what is wrong?

Thanks
