Equivalant for MS SQL datatype 'IMAGE'

I would like to be able to store images and other types of sizeable content (both text and binary, > 8000 bytes) in my table.  Is there a SAP equivalent to MS SQL’s datatype of IMAGE?  What is recommended for content storage?   Regards, Tom Bruser Web2Go Corporation
