RedHat 8.1 beta and SapDB is broken

This weekend I installed RedHat 8.1 beta on the machine I use for development at home. Unfortunately SapDB doesn't run anymore.

I tried to copy the old installation (SapBD 7.3), reinstall 7.3 and reinstall 7.4 all with the same result. When brining the database online I get the error "server crashed before reaching cold state".

I'm at the office right now so I can't check the exact error code, but if anyone has seen a similar problem (and perhaps a workaround) I would love to hear about it. I would hate to have to reinstall RedHat 8.0 just because of this (everything else works wonders).
