Hi! We use SAPDB 7.3.0.23 and 7.3.0.29. under Linux (what else?). Using the newer version leads to the following problem: If we open DB Manager and try to install a new database with the wizard, we don't need a password if we use as user name 'root' . All other users need a password, which is not the worst idea. Only 'root' doesn't. It is also not possible when we use Version 23, only at 29. We tried the troubleshooting offered for the security alert from Dec, 2nd. Didn't work. Any ideas to fix the prob?
