You may want to add a volume (see 
http://www.sapdb.org/7.4/htmhelp/ea/be1432481611d4aa1100a0c9430730/content.htm for
the dbmcli command, or use the appropriate DBMGUI commands (Configuration -> ... 
Volumes).

The parameters MAXDATAVOLUMES/MAXDATADEVSPACES  resp. MAXLOGVOLUMES/MAXARCHIVELOGS 
contain the number of
currently possibly volumes for data resp. log that can be added without restarting. So 
as an advice,
this parameter should be set to a number slightly above the current number of volumes, 
to have a 
reserve when a 'database full' situation occurs.

There is no way to *increase* the size of a volume once it has been created.
