You are not alone as I too am in the process of switching to sapdb as our enterprise database. I have it on good authority that you can use the dts feature in mssql enterprise manager and sapdb's odbc to transfer data. You will need to tweak your schema, datatypes, stored procs and triggers but I think this would be the case with switching to any db...So forge ahead and give it a whirl, you have nothing to lose and about $15k every 2 years to gain.
