Uhm... I've tried it without rebooting after x_server remove
and failed in the same way. Then rebooted, restarted installation,
and it went fine. But when trying to update the db instances
the database kernel crashed all the time.
Now trying again restarting the maching before the x_server remove
command. Umpf! I wonder how people under Windows upgrade their
production databases, so far it has been a full disaster...
