I'm not sure, whether SAPDB can be included in a performance cluster. But if You're asking for an availability cluster,
then You need a HA software which has a cluster dll or a recovery kit adapted for SAPDB.
Under Windows NT, You could do this with MS Clusterserver or with Steeleye's Lifekeeper with a recovery kit developed by me (You can get it free of charge). Under Linux, Steeleye will release a recovery kit soon. And as far as I know, Fail Safe for Linux, also supports SAPDB HA clusters.
I'don't know if there are more HA products with SAPDB support, but would be nice to know.
kind regards

Does SAP DB cluster from a database perspective. Meaning, can the database run on multiple servers and cluster within itself, or does it solely rely on OS Clustering like MC/ServiceGuard, Microsoft Clustering, etc.
Please advise.
Thanks.
