Hello there,

i got problems when migrating my MS Access 2002 Backend to SAP DB.
I use an Access XP Frontend with its tables in an Access Backend. Now my project is to
migrate this Backend to our SAP DB which is on a seperate server for this purpose.
Because of performance problems which result in idle times > 10s when swiching between
datasets (in a Access form which gets its data via a query) i traced the whole action
and noticed an errorcode like the following:

SQLCODE: -803 Trace error (sqlAllocSharedMem failed)

After this error an idle time of about 7s takes place every time.
I tried the same with a MS SQL Server but don t get any problems there, so i guess the
problem lies either in the DB or the odbc-driver.
Does anyone experienced a similar problem?

Thank you for your support
