after recovering a migration backup, it seems SAP DB looses some information
about the sysdba. The sysdba user doesn't appear in DBMGui anymore
(Configuration/Users). This happens on 7.3.00.25 and 7.3.00.29, and on
Servers running under Linux and Windows 2000, so it looks like a general problem.
The issue has been discussed here already, but no solution worked for me.
The "load_systab" as described here http://listserv.sap.com/pipermail/sapdb.general/2003-February/018352.html didn't work. Probably because the recovery is done on a different machine where this special OS-file is not there.
And what is the difference between"...via complete database backup or inplace migration?"
As a result, I cannot upgrade to 7.4 and ran into the same problem as Arne: http://listserv.sap.com/pipermail/sapdb.general/2003-February/018418.html
Can anyone advice on how this sysdba issue can be resolved?
