@home i have my development installation of SAPDB, and i sometimes copy a complete backup from the production-system to my development system.
i switch the database to admin-mode, select "restore a medium" and SAPDB restores the data i just copied from the production system.
the problem is, that after that restore, i cannot warm the database anymore. if i create a new database instance with the wizard, everything works fine.
is there a trick to recover a complete-backup of another system without recreating the database-instance, but using an existing one?
