Hi @all, in January we decided to change our database from ADABAS to something else. After testing several DBs it was claer that we will take SAPDB. I installed a testsytem with the basic parameters, just telling SAPDB the number of processors. On 2 identical servers SAPDB runs stabil, but slower than our ADABAS.
Now I want to know if there is any experience that will help me to optimize my DB instances. We have three of them, with about 100 up to 150 users at one time each. The smallest DB is about 2GB of data in 41 tables, the second one 4GB in 19 tables, the biggest 7GB in 110 tables. Has somebody of you of you experience with similar DBs? Where are the problems or where can occur some? Which parameters should i change during or after the installation?
