After installation of new empty instance which had an error when trying to initialize the instance (I cannot remember what though) I attempt to bring the database to online mode from admin mode and get:
error code = -24988
Description = sql error [db_warm -f], -118, Message Not Available

I think a similiar issue was paid some prior attention to but for a different tailend error (8888 I think).
