This is interesting, because I've written multi-user
apps with IB and have never had a problem - and 
indeed many on the IB/FB groups speak of having
hundreds of users.

I agree, they could have done more to open up
Interbase to different environments - I think that
as long as it worked well with Delphi and 
C++ Builder, they weren't too pushed.
