Hi SAP Team, I still have the problem with restoring a backupmedium of my choice.
Tino gave me the advice to use the label of the mediums, but I don't know how to do that. Here is my infinished script: 1) dbmcli -uUTL -d DATENBANK -u DBO,kennwort 2) util_execute INIT CONFIG 3) recover_start Nase DATA ExternalBackupID 1 4) recover_start IncNase PAGES ExternalBackupID 1 <---- ERROR here! 5) db_online (the linenumbers are just for better keeping the different scriptsteps apart) The backupfiles (one complete and one incremental) have the labels DAT_00001 and PAG_00001 as you can see via "backup_history_list". Now the question again: how can I restore backupfiles of my choice? It seams to be no problem to restore a specific backup with the GUI, so I just want to know how to do the same thing only with the DBMCLI.
