Does recover_start allows to recover version files from autosaved logs? or is it just for interactive log files?
I need a suggestion for a procedure to test a recovery scenario where: 1) data and log volumes has been destroyed 2) A full backup 1 day old exists 3) Some autosave version files exists, some are newer than the last full data backup I have many doubts about how to implement this test, and I am concerned because I would like to have some domain over a contingency plan for my SAPDB. a) What should be the recover script? b) What should I do in terms of inserting data, firing backups, etc in order to be able to test this scenario? I strongly feel that a how-to like this would benefit a vast majority of SAPDB users who may feel as lost as me in the backup/restore matters of SAPDB. Thank you very much, Martin Cordova http://java.megaserv.com ps: I already read the document "backup and recovery with dbmcli". BTW, the script in page 8 does not work! _______________________________________________ sapdb.general mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listserv.sap.com/mailman/listinfo/sapdb.general
