Hi We are developing a client server application, and we are going through the stress testing phase. We have noticed an issue for which we have not found a solution yet.
If we forcibly shut the server down, connected clients never timeout. We can shut the client down, and re-start it without difficulty (once we have re-started the server), but one of the client programmes is intended for unattended operation 24x7, and so, if it cannot tell that the server is dead because the connections never return, then the application will, to all intents and purposes, hang. Has anybody got any ideas for a work around? Many thanks Tony _______________________________________________ sapdb.general mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listserv.sap.com/mailman/listinfo/sapdb.general
