Hello Arne,

the wizard allows a restart only, if it is possible. You can distinguish two cases. A)
There is information on the log volume and it is matching the restored data backup.
You don't need to restore any following incremental or log backups, even if you would
like to do so. B) There is no information on the log volume (e.g. after a reinstall
for recovery). In this case, a restart is possible after every consistent data backup
and every log backup. But the wizard should allow the restoration of all the backups
you have.

Well, I might have to rephrase that...

The database wizard actually does *NOT* restart the database. After a
DATA recovery, the next step in the DBMGUI seems to be to restart the
database, which is not always what you want. Not really a bug, just a
little annoyance :-)

Sorry for the confusion.

Arne
