Hello. The closest answer - more like a comment, I could find to this question was referring to SAP => MySQL and slow inserts. BTW: I don't find SAP to be slow, and prefer it over MySQL - and the support is always great. My issue: I am using SAPDB version 7.4.3 on windows 2000. It serves as the database for a java application I am writing. From time to time, I have noticed it I shutdown (Start - shutdown) or have to reset/power off my system (it really doesn't matter which) and boot back up, I if I have not performed a back up of my DB, I lose information. I have turned off all logging and do not use autocomit(false); anywhere in my application. So as far as I can tell, it should save everything as I expect. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.
