Hi, is there a document describing the most basic tuning possibilities for sapdb? I know that every time I run into a problem I have forgotten which parameters to adjust for the different caches and in addition to that some seem to have changed/disappeared in version 7.4.
I have a "[-904] Space for result tables exhausted" with a query that occurs in very strange situations. We have a testuite that hits a web application based on sapdb and the error only occurs after several queries/transactions. If I stop the testsuite after the error has occurred the error remains, even though there is no load on the database. After restarting the database the same query works OK again. It seems as if a session-level cache is running out of memory (does that make sense? no idea). The first thing I thought of was adjusting the amount of memory sapdb has for temporary results but I did not find that parameter (DATA_CACHE is a different thing, right?).
