Hi Andre, I know that the release 7.3.0.25 is the base for the big migration, but I thought, that I could work with the release 7.3.0.21 too, because the migrate command, is implemented in 7.3.0.21 But I did not know that the catalog component in 7.4.3.X executes a migration check. The stackbacktrace and the KNLDIAG file told me that the catalog was the problem, which prevents the migration.
The migration from 7.3.0.21 to 7.3.0.25 is much simpler than the big one. You have to change the software only. 7.3.0.25 contains some catalog migrations so far I know, but this will be done implicit during the first restart. Details for migraton 7.3 -> 7.4 http://www.sapdb.org/7.4/pdf/migration73_74eng.pdf Regards, Torsten SAP DB, SAP Labs Berlin -----Original Message----- From: Andre Reitz [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Mittwoch, 16.
