Hello, I’m having a very strange problem and was wondering if anyone has ever encountered this. In my database I have two tables that get updated quite a bit. All goes well for a while but eventually when an update is issued I get the error – Numeric value out of range -3019 POS(8) Invalid exponent. At that point if I drop the table recreate and reload the data everything is fine, for a while. Even the update that caused the error works. But it’s only a matter of time (3 or 4 days) before the same thing happens again. Does anyone have any ideas. I’m using 7.4.3.10 with Redhat 8.0.
