You can backup them only onto disk, or into external backup tools, not onto tapes (at least not directly). 2) How can I clear these LOG files? dbmcli -d ... -u ...,... db_admin dbmcli -d ... -u ...,... -uUTL -c util_execute clear log But be sure, that you can deal with the loss of data that would occur if a crash happened. 3) Is there a way to turn the archive log OFF in SAPDB just like in Oracle?
