Is there any better way instead using GREATEST?
As MaxDB does not support AND/OR in the select-list, this seems to be the shortest (and 'best') way.
How about functions like OR(x,y,...)? I would suggest to add such function in some of the next versions: OR(x,y,...) AND(x,y,...) XOR(x,y) NOT(x)
