As I have said to the list on several occassions, SAPDB 7.4 on RH9 also gives me signal 11. This issue remains unresolved. I don't know what changed between RH8 and 9, but it goes beyond what "export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5" can cure.
I don't know what LD_ASSUME_KERNEL does, but i guess it's an issue with the NPTL (Native Posix Thread Library) that's included with RedHat9.
The NPTL is not 100% compatible to the old Linux-Threads, so SAPDB-kernel might crash because of some strange behaviour of the Thread-API.
