Hello, I am new to the webshop area but in the near future I will have to build one myself. I am rather pro efficient with django and I have read some very good things about Satchmo. So It is very high on my list of the tools to do the job.
I have a couple of questions regarding the payment overall process and the module built in Satchmo. I am not very familiar with all this machinery and I was thinking that I would happily delegate this task of dealing with the money to one of the big guys out there (Google or amazon, ...). Based on my research I found a thread in the mailling list talking about it : http://groups.google.com/group/satchmo-users/browse_thread/thread/14dc196639c9948a/91c033aadc91b359?lnk=gst&q=amazon#91c033aadc91b359 I would like to know if there is anything already implemented ? In fact I was interested by using Amazon Simple Pay and Amazon Market Place. It would be nice if one of you could let me know if this is a reasonable plan ? In fact I do not have anything against "Authorize.net" but for some reason Amazon Simple Pay was looking easier to set up. I haven't yet been able to found the fee associated with using "Authorize.net", do you have any link ? My last question for today is about the nfa branch, my site is using django 1.0 (post nfa merge to be exact). Is it "safe" to start building my application with this branch ? Thank you for your help and guidance in getting started. --yml --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Satchmo users" group.
