Next problem. WA and a number of other states now have destination-based taxes.
Does Satchmo handle this? Is anyone working on it? I will be paying taxes in WA, but not in other states, so all that is needed is to query a state-run site with the shipping destination, to get back the applicable tax. The more general problem is to handle the business that pays destination-based sales taxes in all states - voluntary for now thank god. There the only solution seems to be to sign up with a service bureau that handles all of the states, provides you with the tax amount for billing the customer, and remits the tax to the 2000? jurisdictions.
