Thanks for the clarification.
Would it be complicated to limit the download to the user without
having to hammer satchmo too much ?

You mean not possible to credit more than what bought or not use the
value of a gift certificate in full and use it to pay several
orders ?

(A bit struggling on the installation, not sure how to mix the default
values of django and the ones on the doc and cherry picking in the
dark).

Suggestion: So far, a think a beginner like me would have really found
useful in the doc is a downloadable config that contains everything
needed for a satchmo being the only apps on a django (so that's easy
to do a quick test and have a look at the admin and so on)
