Usually, I maintain stability for smaller additions like adding a new
payment module by simply running the test suite.  It passed before I
committed, somehow, but it missed that error.

For what it's worth, I really don't like the overhead and annoyance of
branching with Subversion.  Unless it is going to be a larger project, I
usually don't do it.  Git has spoiled me.

We're on track to release 0.8 very very soon now.  At that point, we'll ask
"regular users" to use that one instead of trunk.  In the meantime, there
are going to be some occasional bobbles.
