I want to create a product that can be completely customized. We have ~3 pre-configured models of our product, but want to be able to allow the user to configure their own (similar to how you would go to a car manufacturer's site and configure your own car with specific wheels, colors, interior, etc.).
I don't quite understand how the configurable products work, is there documentation somewhere that can explain this to me and help give my users the ability to configure their own product?
