Webfaction (webfaction.com) works well for small stores. Start with the Shared 1 plan and bump it up based on how much memory you end up needing. Satchmo 0.7 runs on a lot less than 180MB for me.
In general, whether you'll be able to run Satchmo on a host really depends on whether you'll be able to run Django.
