I hit the same problem for the cart I am building at work. I decided
to use trunk because I wanted to use the latest module reorganization
without having to do a weird upgrade from .8.1 once .9 came out. It
has been working quite well, but everything is not completely stable.
One other issue that I have hit is that trunk (as of revision 1915)
requires Django trunk. If your production server does not run Django
trunk you'll want to use revision 1914 (the revision I am targetting)
or earlier.
