Yup Laszlo is right.

You need to recreate the directories to override the templates
sucessfully.

And here's a trick I used to find stuff in bigger projects with
subfolders:

I normally use the grep, locate or find command when I have a
terminal.
And under Windows, I use "Windows Grep" to search for code in files.
