This may sound strange, but I can think of a couple of uses for this and I'm
wondering if I'm not looking at (overlooking) things correctly, if there are
already tools to do this or if I'm in new territory.
I have a couple of use-cases where an admin or other staff-member running a
Satchmo installation will wish to place orders on behalf of customers,
without logging in as that particular customer. A rough analogue to what
they are doing would be like accepting telephone orders.

I'm thinking that I'll have to override/upgrade some of the templates and
shop methods for properly authenticated (staff) users so the cart,
subsequent order and payment get associated with the correct purchaser.

Any thoughts or suggestions on the best way to accomplish this?

Thx!

Scott

PS. Happy to contribute it if there is interest.
