I'm using Satchmo 0.8 and we're about to go live with a new shop, but I have a problem with the display of the British Pound (£) symbol on the invoice pdf and on the Paypal order summary.
On the production box (Centos 5), the invoice PDF prices are displayed/ printed as £1.00 (that's a A with a ~ on top, comma, A with a hat on top, £). On the development box (FC10) it displays fine (£1.00). The locale on both boxes is the same (en_US.utf-8), and the site currency has been set to £ in satchmo admin. Some of the product descriptions include a price in their text (e.g. 'credit worth £5'). This display fine on the satchmo site, but when the product is purchased through PayPal, the PayPal site displays the description as 'credit worth £5' (A with a hat on, £).
