Hey, got it!
It was dying in line 477 of payment/forms.py:
log.debug('Payment module %s cannot do credit authorizations, ignoring
AUTH_EARLY setting.',
self.paymentmodule.MODULE.KEY.value)
That clued me into the fact that it was checking for pre-auth, I turned it
off and the thing started working. So not sure why it actually failed. So
it correctly saw that my class doesn't do pre-auth, but when it tried to
write a DEBUG message, it was failing. Turning off Pre-Auth in settings
stopped the error.
