Well, I tried to install the ssl module, but couldn't get it to work.
I am trying to run this on Dreamhost where I don't have sudo access.
I am using virtualenv to install everything else into my home dir.
Dreamhost doesn't have the development libraries for openssl installed
so I first had to install that into my home directory. Then when I
installed ssl it still tried to use a directory I didn't have access
to.

So, installing ssl wasn't an option.

Then I decided to install python2.6 into my home directory. However,
after I got python2.6 installed using the openssl (no easy task, I had
to edit a few files in the python src) it couldn't find the hashlib
and was still just as useless!

So can anyone tell me if trying to get this module installed is the
right direction? I'm still not sure this is the error since the
payments are going through with authorize.net just fine.
