Hi guys, So inventory is managed through a feed from a backoffice AS400 system (which also goes back in as well in order to deal with financial reporting etc). Logistics are handled via a feed to a distribution partner.
I'll probably write all of this up as a case study as well as the real power we got from Satchmo here was that we had a great off the shelf toolkit which we could then customise and then divert effort away from just producing "ecom related *stuff*" to actually integrating between systems which makes it much better all round.
