What would you like to know about the platform? I don't want to reveal too much about the infrastructure in a public forum. Basically just followed the best practices for any web app, along with the django tuning suggestions.
We took advantage of a third party content distribution service for much of the static content which speeds things up somewhat. Also have memcached running as well. Separate App and DB servers. (2GB and 1GB of RAM respectively -- now thinking I should have that switched but we'll take a baseline and see where performance stands). Apparently Lance will be "tweeting" about this, as well as posting it to Facebook, so when that happens they're expecting alot of traffic. I'm curious to see how we hold up.
